Da’Jamaal Bio
Da’Jamaal is a 23 year old rapper, singer, songwriter, and native of Baton Rouge, LA. His first radio single “Broadway” generated an intense buzz in Baton Rouge for his first upcoming and highly anticipated mixtape, Grand Theft Audio. Several comparisons have been drawn to national stars and icons in the rap world due to the unique style and delivery that separates D Ja’amaal from local Louisiana artist. He has performed at several events and industry mixers such as the Lyricist Lounge (hosted by Soul By Demand at Bistro 225) and the 225 to 504 Industry Mixer (hosted by Deej Marquis at 600 Main). Since his days as a graduate of Redemptoris High School, D Ja’amaal has focused on delivering a quality sound that blends a diverse array of topics with entrancing melodies. His soulful and eclectic delivery allows him to incorporate intricate jewels of lyricism while entertaining listeners with a flow that is as smoothe and comforting as hot chocolate in the winter. He is managed by Eddie “ShoTyme” Smith of New Wave Management.

D Ja’maal’s goal is to provide his an audience with a total package that is reminiscent of the classic vintage hip hop produced by rap legends such as Jay-Z, LL Cool and T.I. D Ja’maal seeks to put his name in the same lights as Drake and Kanye West by putting out music that is smoothe, refreshing, moving, witty, and insightful.
