AYO Baby Blog: Athletics and Academics Camp
Hey guys!

I visted the A&A Camp yesterday which hosted 100 at-risk youths (ages 11-16 years old) living in the Parramore neighborhood. Along with basketball, we covered topics in financial literacy, health, reading, leadership and self-esteem. I worked a lot with the kids on the basketball court and sent everyone home with a book of their choice. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped coach! Special shout out to Adonal Foyle and his team who also took part, listen here.
We ended the camp with a Q&A session to quiz the kids on what they learned about. We also had an award ceremony to give out basketballs as prizes. Last, but not least, we sat down for a healthy meal after our workout. Learn more about the Kerosene Lamp Foundation here. Thanks to everyone who came out!
Check out some of my photos from the event.
I also took some video, AYO!
