Booking it with Baby a BIG Success

Glen Davis stayed busy and productive this off-season.

When he wasn’t working on his game in preparation for the 2012-13 NBA season he was focused on spreading the message of his foundation.

Davis went on the “Booking it with Baby” tour this summer. The tour is part of the Glen Big Baby Davis Foundation, in partnership with the East Baton Rouge Parish Library System. The tour encouraged city youth to focus on literacy, athletic and healthy recreational events & activities.

Davis’ tour, reached over 1,500 kids ages 5-15 as it helped his goal to create awareness of childhood literacy and demonstrate the positive impact reading has on youth and on the entire community.

The mission is supported by donations from individuals, corporations, grants and fundraising.
