Glen Davis was born on January 1, 1986 in Baton
Rouge, Louisiana. Glen Davis is an American college
basketball player for Louisiana State University. He
is a 6'9", 290 lb power forward and is widely
considered a future high NBA Draft pick. The
Southeastern Conference's coaches voted Glen Davis
for the 2006 SEC Player of the Year, and he was also
named to the All-SEC first team. In 2006 as a
sophomore, Glen Davis led the Tigers to their first
Final Four appearance since 1986. In the crucial
game of National Semifinals, LSU lost to UCLA by a
wide margin in the first half and never managed a
come-back. While Glen Davis was expected as a
difference-maker should the game come close, he shot
poorly from the field (17 points) and only made 4
out of 10 free throws before eventually fouling out.
